Adoptables

The cost to maintain one adult sturgeon in culture for a year is approximately $1000. Please help us continue restoration efforts by adopting a fish for a week, a month, a year or what ever you can contribute. Your donations are tax deductable.All fish captured from the Chesapeake Bay are used in establishing a broodstock population for future spawning and test release research, feed training and diet studies, and hatchery technology development.

The funds raised will be administered by the University System of Maryland Foundation, Inc. for the benefit of the sturgeon restoration program at Horn Point Laboratory. We thank you for your support.

Donations of $1000 or greater will receive an annual report of their adopted sturgeon's progress.
